Male Breast Reduction
Two locations to serve New York City & Greater New York (Tri-State area)

Gynecomastia is very common in adolescent men as well as overweight adults and those around 50. It can be caused by marijuana, as well as hormonal imbalances, and as a side effect of several prescription medications. A work up by your primary care doctor is essential prior to seeing a plastic surgeon.

What to expect

Most of the time, advanced liposuction techniques are sufficient to resolve the issue, but occasionally skin must be removed which can leave a scar. A consultation with one of our surgeons can determine which is the most appropriate option for you.

Expect bruising and swelling to last from weeks to months, and know that you cannot exercise for at least 2 weeks after. Sometimes post operative massage is needed to obtain your results quicker.

If the patient is under 18, they must come with a parent or guardian to be seen by the doctor. Occasionally, insurance may reimburse for this procedure. Our Patient Coordinator will help you receive reimbursement if you qualify, as well as offering several financing options if you do not.
